Our why

This isn't just a picture with my father and I, this is my why.

2020 was a hard year for everyone, but it was especially hard for my father who suffered from a stroke and a seizure. This was due to stress and depression from the COVID-19 pandemic, along with a multitude of other factors.

When my father got sick, my family and I had no hope that he would make it. This put my entire family in a state of uncertainty and stress. Thinking about paying for a funeral when just days ago things were fine, was something that seemed so out of reach for my family.

My dad was the sole provider for my family, so we lost all of our household income. We had bills to pay and we were living month to month trying to make ends meet.

After a couple months, things became easier to manage. However, I then proceeded to ask myself the question, what would've happened if my father passed? How would that have of impacted my family financially?

Then the thought came up... How many other families dealt with a situation similar to ours? How many families lost their loved ones and left the family with bills and a funeral to pay for?

I know what it's like to have uncertainty around money. It's extremely difficult to deal with, especially when one is grieving and dealing with emotional stress.

That's why I love what I do and why I care so much about my clients. I want to provide them with a peace of mind around money, so that they never have to suffer the way my family did.
